Wildcats Finish Off the Sweep of the Furies 5–1 on Thursday

The Westchester Wildcats (4–1, 2–0) continued their winning ways at Forsyth Country Day School on Thursday, defeating the Furies by a score of 5–1. Carson Daniel picked up his first win of the season with six strikeouts over three innings. He and Tony Lopez combined to strike out ten Furies hitters in the game. JD Chappell, Crawford Elrod, Ryan Engle and Tate Vogler all doubled to lead the Wildcat offense. Westchester Country Day goes on the road again on Tuesday to face another conference rival, Calvary Day School.
